This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms of your use of the MyChurch.org website and
your membership in the Service. These terms are designed to protect MyChurch.org members and
churches. To help maintain a safe, productive, and fun environment at MyChurch.org, you must
agree to the following terms of service
You may terminate your membership at any time for any reason by sending an email to support@mychurch.org.
You hereby certify to MyChurch that you are at least 13 years old. MyChurch is intended for people who are
at least 13 years old. Children under 13 are not permitted to join MyChurch or participate in the MyChurch
community, and MyChurch will remove accounts held by people it learns are under the age of 13. Parents
of children under 13 can also delete their child’s site by contacting MyChurch.
You agree not to use the account, username, or password of another Member at any time or to disclose your
password to any third party.
You agree not to use automated scripts to collect information from or otherwise interact with the Service or the Site.
You agree to notify MyChurch.org immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or access
to your password. You are solely responsible for any and all use of your account.
The services of MyChurch.org are for the personal use of members and churches only and may not be used in
conjunction with any commercial endeavors. Illegal and/or unauthorized use of the services, including collecting
usernames and/or email addresses, church data, and information of members by electronic or other means for the
purpose of sending unsolicited email. Appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation, civil,
criminal, and injunctive redress for violations.
Any spamming or unsolicited messaging of the MyChurch.org members will result
in removal of your account along with appropriate legal action against the
offending party.
Creating multiple accounts under the same identity is not allowed.
You may not upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any
law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships, or any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret,
copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party;
You are solely responsible for the Content that you post on or through any of the Services, and any material or information
that you transmit to other Members and for your interactions with other Users. Content is not necessarily reviewed by
MyChurch.org prior to posting and does not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of MyChurch.org. MyChurch.org makes
no warranties, express or implied, as to the Content or to the accuracy and reliability of the Content or any material or
information that you transmit to other Members. The MyChurch Administrative staff may, at any time however, edit profiles, blogs,
comments, bulletins, sharing posts, or events to remove content deemed inappropriate.
You may not upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing,
defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
Lewd pictures or severely obscene language will not be tolerated. All foul language, any form of harrassing, or hate speech must be eliminated from private and public
messages. Any posting, comment, picture, or content of any kind that is blatantly and disrespectfully anti-God will be removed and
the users' account may be warned, suspended, or removed and banned.
Promoting beliefs through the use of aggressive, abusive, disrespectful, slanderous, or harrassing words or content will not be tolerated. If you are found to be engaging in such communication your account will be removed and banned.
You may not solicit personal information from anyone under 18.
MyChurch.org does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, audio, musical works, works of authorship, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you post to the MyChurch Services. After posting your Content to the MyChurch Services, you continue to retain all ownership rights in such Content, and you continue to have the right to use your Content in any way you choose. By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content on or through the MyChurch Services, you hereby grant to MyChurch.org a limited license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content through the MyChurch Services.
The license you grant to MyChurch.org is non-exclusive (meaning you are free to license your Content to anyone else in addition to MyChurch), fully-paid and royalty-free (meaning that MyChurch.org is not required to pay you for the use on the MyChurch Services of the Content that you post), sublicensable, and worldwide. This license will terminate at the time you remove your Content from the MyChurch Services. The license does not grant MyChurch.org the right to sell your Content.
The MyChurch Services contain Content of Users and other MyChurch.org licensors. Except for Content posted by you, you may not copy, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, transmit, distribute, perform, display, or sell any Content appearing on or through the MyChurch Services without the expressed and written consent of the Content owner.
Your profile must describe you, an individual person. Examples of inappropriate profiles include, but are not limited to, profiles that purport to represent an animal, place, inanimate object, fictional character, or real individual who is not you.
By posting Content to any public area of MyChurch.org, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to MyChurch.org an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing.
You may not post content that displays pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind.
Disclaimers. MyChurch.org is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Content posted on the Web site or in connection with the Service, whether caused by users of the Web site, Members or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Service. MyChurch.org is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the Web site or Member of the Service. MyChurch.org assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or Member communications. MyChurch.org is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to users and/or Members or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in connection with the Web and/or in connection with the Service. Under no circumstances will MyChurch.org be responsible for any loss or damage, including personal injury or death, resulting from anyone's use of the Web site or the Service, any Content posted on the Web site or transmitted to Members, or any interactions between users of the Web site, whether online or offline. The Web site and the Service are provided "AS-IS" and MyChurch.org expressly disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. MyChurch.org cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of the Web site and/or the Service. The service may be temporarily unavailable from time to time for maintenance or other reasons.
Limitation on Liability. Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will MyChurch.org be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits arising from your use of the Web site or the Service, even if MyChurch.org has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, MyChurch.org's liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to MyChurch.org for the Service during the term of membership.
