MINISTRIES

Support this apostolic ministry through your prayers and finance!

"Because you were slain, and with your blood, you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation." - Revelation 5:9

"After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and peoplelanguage standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb." - Revelation 7:9 and

We are inspired by the above Bible verses. There are hundreds of unreached tribes, languages, people in India who have not yet heard the gospel. Though many tribes and people have heard the gospel, yet there are many thousands who do not have the Word of God in their own mother tongues.

A very important ministry that has been relegated to the background in the Christian world, that is next to the ministry of preaching the Word is of making available the Word of God in every tongue. The need of the hour is not to invest our money into raising up towering buildings with mortar and cement but into translating the Bible in every language. Today the Church is as a blind man losing his vision. When the Holy Spirit was given to the Church for the first time on the day of Pentecost, the 120 disciples were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak "with other tongues" as the Spirit gave them utterance. The multitude who spoke different languages came there and heard the wonderful works of God in their own languages "wherein we were born" through the mouths of people who spoke these languages (Acts 2:1 - 11). It was a sign given to the Church that henceforth the glorious gospel would be preached in every tongue of this world.

It is very essential to give the Bible in one's mother tongue. In the past, many Christians stopped following Christ because they did not have the Bible in their unwritten mother tongues. You may think, "Why not give the Bible in their State or Regional languages?". The answer is many people do not know those languages. Even if they do, they may not have a proper understanding of those languages. Hence, it is of no use to give them the Bible in their State or Regional languages. It is important to translate the Bible in their mother tongues, so that they may remain in Christ and give fruits. In India, there is an urgent need for Bible translation in 180 more Indian languages.

We minister to an unreached tribe, named "BHIL" in Dahod, Gujarat State, India. We are now engaged in translating the Bible into their language. Their mother tongue is BHILODI.
Among the tribal people in India, BHIL community has the 3rd largest people group in India. Of these, many live in the hilly and forest areas which are situated in the borders of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. They have the practice of building houses in groups and in each house, three to four families live together. Their staple food is corn, and their main occupation is agriculture. They plant crops like corn, wheat, paddy. etc.
The BHIL people who dwell in the state of Rajasthan speak Wagadi and those in Madhya Pradesh speak BHILI language. Most of those who speak BHILODI language live in Dahod and Panchmahal Districts of Gujarat. BHILODI speakers also live in Banswada (Rajasthan) and Jabua (Madhya Pradesh) which are in the outskirts of Gujarat. More than 13 lakh (1.3 million) BHIL people speak BHILODI language.
Many BHIL people have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior because of the work of the Holy Spirit and the tireless efforts of the missionaries. It is necessary to give the Bible in BHILODI language which does not have a script of its own. For this reason, the Bible translation work began in BHILODI language. You can view the photographs of this community and their village life.

Our Vision

To give the Bible
in the scriptless spoken language people
and make them to walk in the truth
and to inherit the eternal life

Our Mission
* To reach out those who have no written languages in India
* To give written forms (scripts) for the unwritten Indian languages (which have no scripts)
* To translate the Bible in those languages and to print the same
* To distribute the translated portions of the Bible to those who need the same
* To perfect, edify and equip the saints (who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior but do not have the Bible in their own languages) for the ministry by giving them Bible in their mother tongues and teaching and making them understand the Bible in their mother tongues so that they are "no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness......" (Eph.4:11-14).
* To prepare literacy materials and educate the people in their languages
* To create awareness about Bible translation in the unwritten languages in the Christian world.

7:12-15 the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the steadfast love that he swore to your fathers. Deu 7:13 He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock, in the land that he swore to your fathers to give you. Deu 7:14 You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your livestock. Deu 7:15 And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knew, will he inflict on you, but he will lay them on all who hate you.

GOD IS THE TRUE SOURCE OF PEACE.
Psalm 3:5 . . . I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.
Psalm 4:8 . . . I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
Psalm 29:11 . . . The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.
Psalm 32:7 . . . You are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.
Philippians 4:7 . . . If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

 HE HAS RISEN

Almighty God, who through your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ overcame death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life: Grant that I, who celebrate with joy the day of the Lord’s resurrection, may be raised from the death of sin by your life-giving Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Before the festival of Passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come to pass from this world to the Father, having loved those who were his in the world, loved them to the end. They were at supper, and the devil had already put it into the mind of Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray him. Jesus knew that the Father had put everything into his hands, and that he had come from God and was returning to God, and he got up from the table, removed his outer garments, and, taking a towel, wrapped it around his waist; he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel he was wearing. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, ‘Lord, are you going to wash my feet?’ Jesus answered, ‘At the moment you do not know what I am doing, but later you will understand.’ ‘Never!’ said Peter, ‘You shall never wash my feet.’ Jesus replied, ‘If I do not wash you, you can have no share with me.’ Simon Peter said, ‘Well then, not only my feet, but my hands and my head as well!’ Jesus said, ‘No one who has had a bath needs washing, such a person is clean all over. You too are clean, though not all of you are.’ He knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said, ‘though not all of you are.’ When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments again he went back to the table. ‘Do you understand,’ he said, ‘what I have done to you? You call me Master and Lord, and rightly, so I am. If I then, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you must wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example so that you may copy what I have done to you.’
